Michelle is a very minor character who makes an appearance in the film, Happy Feet. She is the mate of Maurice, the mother of Gloria, and the mother-in-law of Mumble, and a grandmother to Erik.

Happy Feet[]
In Happy Feet, she first appeared in the reunion of mates, and when she finally meets up with Maurice and her new daughter Gloria, she exclaims "Aww, she's so darling!" She loves her daughter dearly but appears to care for her well being too much and is strict due to it.
After Mumble is sentenced to exile, Gloria tries to stop him from leaving and after her objections to her father's commands of not going after him, Michelle demands "Gloria, listen to your father." She is later seen dancing with Maurice, Memphis and Norma Jean at the end of the movie.
Appearance[]
Michelle is a female emperor penguin who has brown eyes like her daughter, a pink mouth on her beak, and a gold patch on her chest.
Personality[]
Not much about Michelle is known, possibly due to her lack of airing time, but she did display resentment towards Mumble, along with her husband due to his unusual behaviour (dancing). She most likely later changed her opinion about Mumble's dancing and accepted him at the end of the movie.

- Michelle does not like Gloria being with Mumble and called him "inferior".
