The Forbidden Shore is the abandoned place that the group follows Lovelace too; to find the aliens. it appears in the film, Happy Feet.
Information[]
Happy Feet[]
The Forbidden Shore looks to be an abandoned fishing and/or whaling outpost left behind by the Aliens. Mumble and the Amigos were led there by Lovelace after he was asked to show where he found his Talisman. There on the shore, the group finds dumped garbage that has collected at the head of the bay by a frozen buoy; including many discarded six-pack plastic rings that are identical to Lovelace's Talisman. A couple of Killer Whales later assault the group by breaking off the buoy from the rest of the ice and force the group into deeper waters to prevent their escape. The group of penguins is forced to balance on the buoy as it is spun and capsized by the Whales, as Lovelace is caught on the buoy's bell chain.
Trivia[]
- A huge glacier from the Forbidden Shore appeared in a trailer of Happy Feet Two: The Videogame but it did not appear in the game.
- The outpost is actually a Ghost Whaling Station called Grytviken on the island of South Georgia, which really was abandoned in the 60's.
